Seventeen year old Ali Mohammed was elected Young Mayor for Newham on 4th November 2010. He said he was 'excited to be the new Young Mayor'.
His Deputy is fourteen year old Jasmin Joseph. The pair, and their Youth Council have a budget of £25,000 that they will spend on provision for young people in Newham.
